These are several general types of site content on any given website created with Open Enterprise Pro:

  • Blog Post
  • Landing Page
  • Page
  • Press Release
  • Thank You Page

In this type of website, which is a content management system (CMS), the terminology used to refer to each of those types of content is as follows:

Blog Post

These pages include special fields that allow for title, body of content, tags, and media, as well as adding categories to each blog post. When filled out and saved, a new blog post will appear in the blog section of your website.

Landing Page

These pages include special fields that allow for title, body of content, tags, and media, as the option of adding a submission form.

Basic Page

These pages are single pages that can have a link from the main menu and contain regular content. They may contain documents, images or just regular text. Pages describing products and services are examples of basic pages on your website.

Press Release

These pages are similar to blog posts with the exception of adding categories. When filled out and saved, a new press release post will appear in the press release section of your website.

Thank You Page

These pages are single pages that can contain documents, images or just regular text. When someone submits a webform for an eBooks or to sign up for a newsletter the visitor will then be directed to a Thank You page. These are examples of having thank you pages on your website.

Additionally, by going to Structure > Content Types > Add Content Type, you can create other content types (like events, etc.).
